NYU elderly Danielle (Rachel Sennott) enjoys seemingly no post-college customers but is maintaining herself comfortable by playing sugar infant for Max (Danny Deferrari). But she suddenly locates multiple disparate elements of the lady lives colliding whenever she attends a shiva for children friend with her parents, only to fulfill Max indeed there also … along with his spouse and kid. With them, this lady families, the woman seriously judgy community, and her ex-girlfriend from high-school, Maya (Molly Gordon), all-present, Danielle must juggle the various, earlier segregated selves she’s designed for the whole world.

Danielle’s conflicting identities play into these exterior entanglements. All of this helps make Shiva kids a great, punchy small cringe comedy.
